Firehouse World Expo hands on training was held in San Diego, California on January 31 and February 1, 2005. The popular RIT Combat Drills program was part of the program with lead instructor Jim Crawford of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire and assistant lead instructor Tim Sendelbach of the Savannah Fire Department conducting the course. The grueling "Pittsburgh Drill" was tackled by the participants with some great times. The Firehouse World 2005 winners are as follows; Team #4 - Mike Ulibarri, Salt Lake County FD Utah - Joe Egbert, Salt Lake County FD Utah - Jake Sinclair, Sacramento FD California - Tilden Billitier, Sacramento FD California - Eric McGlennon, Menlo Park FD California. Team 4 had an almost record breaking time of 6:47. The current record still stands at 6:30 held by the Yakima FD, Washington. Congratulations to the above firefighters for an outstanding time and effort in the Pittsburgh Drill.
